My karaoke voice, with some encouragment medicine in the form of Tanduay, was brought out of retirement for the first time in ages, thus causing much ear type agony for other attendees :-)

Thank you so much to everyone for giving us such a fantastic day, you guys are all awesome.
Thanks also to my dear departed friend Michael, he was alway so kind to me, and still looks after me by leading me to meet all these wonderful people. I only wish I knew them all when you were still here with us.

Well it has been a long time coming, made even longer by the fact that two ultrasounds revealed the relevant naughty bits were always in hiding.

Sure many told us that it was going to be a girl, the shape of Ning's belly, the position of the moon, the weird cravings, itchy privates and numerous other theories.

But as it popped out the people shoot at 2pm yesterday we finally discovered our first daughter, a little Christine Charice, covered in the usual icky stuff that envelopes these little treasures.

Its amazing how life changing having a 'daddys little girl' can be. Different feelings to that I have had before, previous things that bothered me before yesterday now seem to be irrelevant, even those human vermin that have tainted the preservation and karaoke hobbies in recent times now seem to be as important as a lost pube.

Yeah she is going to be spoilt, yeah any prospective boyfriend is going to go through interogation hell but

I FINALLY GOT MY DAUGHTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There has been endless requests to see photos so below is a heap from today.

Sadly, as we were not expecting her yesterday, all I managed to get then was mobile phone shots.

Maria took some during her visit and hopeflly Jason can email them across for showing.

FINALLY

We are planning a combined birthday for me - introduction to everyone for Christine - party next month. Invitations will go out shortly for this event.

After a excessively long wait we are happy to announce the birth of our FIRST daughter 'Christine Charise (Cory)'.

Tomorrow we will have photos here for friends and family, then we will will take a look at the people behind the chosen names, a decision that has come following endless debate, and a number of heated arguments.

To say daddy is wrapped is an understatement - he couldn't be happier with unlimited Tanduay on tap.
